This 1962 Kavalla Racing go-kart was built in Massachusetts by the Bentas brothers, and it was refurbished under prior ownership, with the frame refinished in black. Following the seller’s purchase in 2023, a rebuilt 6.05ci McCulloch MC9 two-stroke single was fitted, and additional features include a Max-Torque centrifugal clutch, 5″ CT alloy wheels, a chrome seat-back fuel tank, a single drum brake, a three-spoke steering wheel, and a black vinyl bucket seat. This Kavalla Racing go-kart is now offered at no reserve in Gilbert, Arizona, on a bill of sale.
The tubular steel frame features a two-piece side rail design with a V-shaped front cross-section and was refinished in black under prior ownership. Additional features include a body-color steering column and floor pan, the latter of which hosts a Kavalla decal.
The 5″ CT alloy wheels are finished in gold and wear Vintage Speed slick tires. A drum brake is mounted on the rear axle.
The single seat has been reupholstered in black, while a three-spoke steering wheel is mounted aft of chromed foot pedals with black rubber covers. A chrome-polished seat-back fuel tank also features.
The rebuilt McCulloch MC9 6.05ci two-stroke single was installed under the seller’s ownership, and it is equipped with polished engine mounts, a flat-back Tillotson carburetor, a GEM muffler, a velocity stack, and a Max-Torque centrifugal clutch. Power is routed to the rear axle via a drive chain.
