Additional changes are limited, but the model gains satin badges as well as an updated color palette that now includes Baltic Teal. Buyers will also find an updated rear end and some other small tweaks.
The changes continue inside, where the cabin has a revamped dashboard that now accommodates a 12.3-inch infotainment system. It replaces the previous 8- and 9-inch displays, and supports wireless Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. Elsewhere, there’s new “Pathfinder” badging on the silver trim strip beneath the infotainment system.
Speaking of interior updates, the mid-level SL gains a new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Furthermore, the SL and Platinum come with a redesigned wireless smartphone charger that supports the Qi2 standard.
On the topic of tech, the Pathfinder SL, Platinum, and Rock Creek gain two new camera functions including Front Wide View and Invisible Hood View. The range-topping Platinum is also notable for having updated 20-inch wheels as well as new seat quilting patterns and faux wood trim.
Last but not least, the rugged Rock Creek gains a new Premium package. It adds the aforementioned wireless smartphone charger as well as a panoramic moonroof, a heated steering wheel, and a 12-volt power outlet in the cargo area. The package costs $1,720 with a second-row bench or $2,270 with second-row captain’s chairs.
Power comes from a familiar 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 284 hp (212 kW / 288 PS) and 259 lb-ft (351 Nm) of torque. However, the Rock Creek variant has a slightly higher output of 295 hp (220 kW / 299 PS) and 270 lb-ft (366 Nm).

Both versions are connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard on all trims, besides the Rock Creek, and all-wheel drive will cost you an extra $2,000.
